Back to work today, part time. My wife and mother are watching me closely, and are really worried about stress. They put me on a 3 hour workday, which is not nearly enough to get caught up.

Kinja'd!!!

They won’t even let me drive, which my mom admits is sonshe can hold me to the schedule. At least Toby can go to the office with me today, and maybe they will let me at least take the Sunchaser out for a short spin.

Kinja'd!!!

I mean, tell me this doesn’t make you a little sad.

Oh man, it does. Besides, a good case can be made that the Sunchaser reduces stress. A dude and his dog in a Sunchaser is how the world is meant to be.

baby steps first.

not fun, but just suck it up and smile knowing you’re still in the land of the living.

Hey, if this works and you are healthy, there will be that much MORE time to drive the Sunchaser. I’m sure it is tough to adjust to, for now, though.

Petting a dog is proven to lower heart rate, blood pressure, and stress. Start petting! Whoose a goood booy!

You think they may be mollycoddling you and they are and will to some extent.

But it was a cumulation of what’s happening in your life that brought on the heart attack. Your in a very high stress job, so easing back in is, well think of it (excuse the pun) stress testing the system.

Not only do you have a stressful job, but now have the knowledge that you had a heart attack but didn’t think much of it at the time and dismissed it.

You had it quite lucky, don’t push it this time.

Your all trying to come to terms with what happened, so there is going to be a few annoyances on all side from time to time. But they are all doing it for the same reason, your well being.

Do as your told and as I said before, you’ll have your ‘cheated’ from time to time, just don’t make them too often.

Man that is rough, but I understand easing in. The not driving would be the worst to me, but you’ll be back at is soon enough.
